- Account information: Your name, email address, and business name when you create an account.
- Business data: Review platform URLs, location addresses, and QR code configurations you provide.
- Customer feedback: Star ratings and optional review text submitted by your customers through your review links.
- Private messages: Feedback submitted by customers who leave low ratings. This is visible only to you.
- Usage data: Analytics about how customers interact with your review links (clicks, platform shares, etc.).
- Payment information: Billing details are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve the FiveStarFlow service
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts, alerts)
- Display analytics and reporting within your dashboard
- Process payments through Stripe
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Customer Data
When your customers use your review link, we collect their star rating and any text they choose to submit. This data is stored securely and is only accessible to you through your dashboard. We do not share customer feedback with third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with industry-standard encryption. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate FiveStarFlow:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — hosting and deployment
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and local storage to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format

8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
